About Me

Hi! My name is Dasha - a UX Designer who was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine and currently lives in Los Angeles. My journey began in the hospitality industry - working there helped me to become more culturally aware, understand customer psychology and deliver an enjoyable experience. It felt very natural to anticipate clients’ needs and solve their problems. However, I was still looking for a perfect job that would fit my empathetic and curious mind, but also allow me to express my creative side. The turning point was when my friends suggested I look into the User Experience Design, adding that they thought I would be a great fit.

Shortly after, I enrolled in the UX Design Immersive Course at General Assembly, which is where I realized my love and passion for the field. As a User Experience Designer I combine my diverse experiences into human-centered, unique and thoughtful solutions. When I am not wearing my UX hat, you can find me in a wetsuit surfing California shores. I'm eager to learn more and expand my professional horizons in the UX space. Let's connect!:)
